Open Access & Copy Right Policy

At IPRPD, we are committed to making scholarly research widely and freely accessible. Our Open Access and Copyright Policy is designed to maximize the reach, reuse, and impact of published work, while maintaining high standards of academic quality.

OPEN ACCESS

1.  All articles published in IPRPD are made immediately available online, free of charge to readers, without subscription or pay-wall barriers.

2.  Authors retain the right to share, download and reuse their work, provided that proper attribution is given to the original article.

3.  We adopt a Creative Commons license (for example, CC BY) unless otherwise indicated, allowing broad reuse with citation of the original work. This aligns with best practice in open access publishing, where the literature is “freely available without subscription or price barriers” and may be reused provided correct citation is given.

4.   Authors may deposit their accepted manuscript or published version in institutional or subject repositories, without embargo, in line with the open access ethos.

COPYRIGHT

1.   On acceptance, authors grant IPRPD the non-exclusive right to publish the article in the journal and to distribute it online; authors retain copyright of their work.

2.   The article is published under the journal’s Creative Commons policy, permitting others to reuse and build upon the work, as long as the original authors and source are properly cited.

3.   If any third-party material (figures, tables, images) is included that is not originally authored by the authors, the authors must secure permission from the rights-holder and indicate clearly in the manuscript where such permissions apply.

Benefits and Author Responsibilities

~By publishing with IPRPD under open access, authors’ work is freely accessible worldwide, enhancing visibility, citation potential and contribution to global scholarship — consistent with what established open-access publishers report.

~Authors are responsible for ensuring the content is original, not published elsewhere, and not under simultaneous review by another journal.

~Authors must disclose funding sources, conflicts of interest, and any ethical approvals as applicable.
